Community Guidelines
Binder Bounty is only for adults aged 18 and over. Under-18s are not allowed, and if we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will terminate it.
The app works when everyone trades honestly and treats each other well. Breaking these guidelines can get your account removed.
Profile photos
- Use a photo of yourself, your cards, or anything else that’s yours to share.
- No nudity or sexual content, no violence or gore, and no hate symbols.
- No photos of anyone under 18, and no one else without their permission.
- No photos of other people’s personal details, such as addresses or number plates.
- We remove photos that break these rules, and may suspend accounts that keep posting them.
Trade honestly
- Describe cards accurately: condition, printing, finish and language.
- Say clearly if a card is a proxy, altered or misprinted. Never offer counterfeits.
- Keep your lists up to date, and remove cards once they’re traded.
- If you agree a trade, turn up or let the other person know.
For stores
- Keep your address, opening hours and events up to date.
- Only list stock you actually have, and update or remove it when it sells.
- Keep announcements accurate and about your store, and remove them once they’re out of date.
- Show the price you’ll actually charge in store, and describe cards accurately: condition, printing, finish and language.
- Keep your store page about your store, its events and the games you sell.
Be respectful
- No harassment, threats, insults or hate, including about someone’s age, gender, race, religion, disability or sexuality.
- Keep messages about trading and games. No sexual content, ever.
- If someone declines your request or blocks you, accept it. Don’t contact them another way or make a new account.
- Don’t spam, advertise unrelated things or send chain messages.
Stay safe
- Meet in public. A local game store is ideal: it’s public, staffed, and has space to check cards. The app can suggest one in your chat.
- Tell a friend where you’re going if you’re meeting someone for the first time.
- Don’t share your home address, phone number or other personal details unless you’re comfortable doing so.
- Never pay or send cards in advance to someone you haven’t met.
- Leave if anything feels wrong.
Block and report
- Block someone from their profile or your chat. They won’t be able to see your lists, find you in matches or contact you, and they aren’t told.
- Report someone from the same menu. Reports are private. We review them and may read the reported conversation to decide what to do.
- If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police or emergency services first.
What happens when rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, warn you, suspend your account or close it. Anything involving harm to children is removed straight away and reported to the authorities (see Child Safety Standards).
