Terms of Service
Effective 30 October 2026. These terms are the agreement between you and SD IT Support Ltd for using Binder Bounty. By creating an account you accept them.
1. Who we are
Binder Bounty is provided by SD IT Support Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15846904), registered office 15 Ebnal Close, Leominster, Herefordshire, HR6 8SL. In these terms “we” and “us” mean SD IT Support Ltd. You can contact us at support@binder-bounty.com.
2. Who can use Binder Bounty
- Binder Bounty is only for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account or use the app, and we ask for your date of birth to check this. Under-18s are not allowed.
- If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will terminate it.
- You must give accurate details. Accounts created with false details may be removed.
3. Your account
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- An account is for one person, or one business for store accounts.
- Don’t choose a display name or profile photo that pretends to be someone else.
- If you add a profile photo, it must follow the community guidelines and be yours to use. You keep the rights to it, and let us show it to other users in the app for as long as it’s on your profile. We can remove a photo that breaks the rules.
- Player accounts can list cards, find matches and message other players. Free player accounts can keep up to 100 entries on their trade list and 50 on their want list. An entry counts once whatever its quantity. Premium removes the limits and adds named lists, for example one want list per deck.
- Store accounts are for real game stores. We review each store before it appears on the map and can refuse or remove a listing. Store Pro lets a store list its stock and prices, and post announcements.
4. How trading works
Binder Bounty helps you find people nearby and get in touch. The trade itself happens between you and the other person.
- We are not a party to any trade. We don’t hold cards, check them, or guarantee their condition or authenticity.
- Users can’t pay each other through Binder Bounty. We are not involved in any money that changes hands between users, or between you and a store.
- You trade at your own risk. Check cards before you swap them.
5. Message requests and chat
You can only chat with someone after they accept your message request. You are responsible for what you send. If a conversation is reported, we may read it to deal with the report, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
6. Meeting other people
Meet somewhere public. The app suggests local game stores because they are public, staffed places with room to look at cards. Tell a friend where you’re going if you’re meeting someone for the first time.
7. Rules you must follow
Follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not:
- break the law, or use Binder Bounty to arrange anything illegal
- harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against anyone
- scam people, or misdescribe a card’s condition, printing or authenticity
- offer counterfeit cards, or proxies without clearly saying so
- send sexual content, or any content that sexualises or exploits children
- spam, impersonate others, or collect other users’ personal details
- scrape the app, interfere with how it works, or get around a block or a ban
8. Content you add
You keep ownership of what you post, such as card lists, messages, store details, stock listings and announcements. You give us permission to store and show it so the app can work, for as long as it stays on Binder Bounty. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
You can import cards from a file, from pasted text, or by sharing a list to Binder Bounty from another app. Check the imported cards before you rely on them: we match each line to a card as best we can, and show you anything we couldn’t match before saving.
9. Card data, images and prices
- Card information and images come from Scryfall. Magic: The Gathering is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast. Binder Bounty is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast or Scryfall.
- Prices are daily estimates from third-party marketplaces, converted with European Central Bank rates. They are a guide only, not offers, and may be wrong or out of date.
10. Stores and events
Stores provide their own details, opening hours and events. Check with the store before you travel. We don’t endorse any store.
Some stores list their stock and prices in the app. The store sets those prices and is responsible for them. Binder Bounty doesn’t sell anything or take payments for stores: any purchase is between you and the store, made in the store. Stock and prices may be out of date, so check with the store first.
If you run a store account, you must keep your details, events, announcements, stock and prices accurate, only list items you actually have, and follow the law on pricing and consumer rights where you trade. We may hide or remove listings that don’t.
11. Suspending or closing accounts
You can delete your account at any time in Settings (how to delete your account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Where it’s safe and lawful to, we will tell you why.
12. Subscriptions
Binder Bounty’s core features are free. Premium (for players) and Store Pro (for stores) are optional paid subscriptions. Card price estimates are never a paid feature.
- Buying: you subscribe in the app through the App Store or Google Play, which take the payment under their own terms. The price and billing period are shown before you confirm.
- Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price then shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancelling: cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting your Binder Bounty account doesn’t cancel a subscription, so cancel it first.
- Refunds: refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
- When a subscription ends: nothing you added is deleted. Free accounts can’t add to a list that’s at or over its free limit (100 trade entries, 50 want entries) until it’s back under, named lists become read-only, and a store’s stock listings and announcements are hidden from players until it subscribes again.
13. Changes to the app and these terms
We may change, pause or stop features. If we change a subscription’s price, the App Store or Google Play will tell you before it applies, and you can cancel. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
14. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
- We are not responsible for trades, meetings or disputes between users, or for what other users say or do.
- Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to £100.
- If you are a consumer, your legal rights are not affected.
15. Disputes between users
Disagreements about a trade are between the people involved. You can report a user to us, but we are not obliged to resolve the dispute.
16. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts can hear disputes. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also use your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections your local consumer law gives you.
