Deleting your Binder Bounty account
You can delete your Binder Bounty account, provided by SD IT Support Ltd, at any time. Deletion is immediate and can’t be undone.
If you subscribe to Premium or Store Pro, deleting your account doesn’t cancel the subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play account settings so you aren’t charged again.
In the app
- Open Binder Bounty and tap the settings icon at the top of any tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete account again.
Without the app
Email support@binder-bounty.com from the email address you signed up with, with “Delete my account” in the subject line. We’ll confirm it’s you, then delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.
To delete only some of your data, you don’t need to delete your account. You can remove cards from your lists, delete chats (press and hold a chat in your inbox, then tap Delete), and remove your store’s events, announcements and stock at any time. A deleted chat goes from your inbox, but the other person keeps their copy.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in details, display name, profile photo, date of birth and town
- Your trade list, want list and any named lists
- Your message requests and conversations, which also disappear for the other person
- Your blocks, and your phone’s notification token
- Your store page, opening hours, events, announcements and stock listings, if you have a store account
- Your subscription status. RevenueCat, which manages subscriptions for us, keeps its record of your App Store or Google Play purchases, as Apple and Google do
What is kept
- Reports you made about other users are kept without your name, so we can still act on them.
- Reports other users made about you are kept, with your display name and any reported conversation, so we can deal with repeat abuse and help the police if needed.
- Copies in our database backups are overwritten within 7 days.
- If we have to keep something by law, for example evidence for a police investigation, we keep only that, for only as long as required.
